How much shade does a pergola provide?

While we can’t speak to other pergolas on the market, our pergolas were designed with shade in mind!
Not all spaces are created equal, so our pergolas come in three different shade levels for you to choose from! 50% Shade (purlins 6” on center spacing), 75% Shade (purlins 4” on center spacing) or 90% Shade (purlins 3” on center spacing).
This is real shade from overhead sun! The shade created helps make your outdoor space more livable! It cuts down the heat you feel and uv light on your space (and into your home in some cases).

All of our pergola kit prices include shipping within the continental United States. If you live outside those areas, please reach out with your location and we can get a freight quote sent out to you. You can find our pergolas from Canada to the Bahamas!

We are located in Iowa on the Iowa / Illinois border and conveniently off of Interstate 80. If you are close enough to stop in, please do. We have multiple pergolas on display, inside and out for you to look at. Our friendly staff can show you around and answer all of your questions.
