How do I measure for a pergola?

The dimensions of a Heartland Pergola refer to the width and depth of the pergola's roof. Traditional pergolas extend beyond the posts, but Modern pergolas do not have overhangs. A 14' x 14' patio may benefit from a 16' x 16' pergola for optimal sun coverage.

Are your pergolas vinyl or aluminum?

We use a durable aluminum base structure wrapped in low-maintenance vinyl. Unlike vinyl pergolas with wood reinforcement that can rot or warp, our aluminum ensures a long-lasting structure with a Lifetime Warranty.

How do I place an order?

You can order online through our website or call our sales team. For custom sizes or configurations, contact us directly. After ordering, you'll receive a Docusign document to confirm your specifications before fabrication begins.

What is your return policy?

Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, if there’s an issue, we will replace any missing or damaged parts immediately.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is included for orders within the continental US. For other regions, please contact us for a quote.

Do you have installation instructions?

Each pergola kit comes with an instruction manual and related CAD drawings. You can also watch our step-by-step installation videos available on YouTube.

What is the Heartland Pergola warranty?

We offer a Lifetime Warranty covering defects like peeling, rot, flaking, rust, and abnormal discoloration, under normal and proper use.

Can I install my pergola myself?

Yes! Many customers choose the DIY route. With basic building skills and simple tools, you can install our pergolas using written instructions, video tutorials, and customer support. Be prepared to lift up to 80lbs and work with saws, drills, and leveling tools.

5. Returns and Refunds

All pergolas are custom fabricated to your specifications and as such, are not eligible for return or refund.
If there happen to be any damaged or missing pieces upon arrival, you must contact us immediately and we will send out the necessary pieces.

6. Warranty

All pergola kits come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on our aluminum pieces.
Warranty claims require proof of purchase.
The warranty does not cover damage due to improper installation, accidents, or natural disasters.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, text, and graphics, is the property of Heartland Pergolas.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability
